As part of the Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements at 49 CFR 172.174 Subpart H, shippers and carriers of certain hazardous materials must develop and implement security plans as well as ensure that their employee training programs include a component on security. This training session focuses on the awareness-level component of this training requirement.
