Course Objective
This program provides clinicians with the opportunity to learn about:
Understand how the term “spectrum” applies in the DSM-5.
Know how the code for Bereavement has changed in the DSM-5.
Understand why Bipolar Disorder is not a part of Major Depressive Disorder.
Identify in which spectrum Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD is included

Author Bio
Laura Groshong, LCSW Laura Groshong is a clinical social worker in private practice in Seattle, where she specializes in working with people who have a variety of personality disorders.  For the past 15 years, she has also been involved in political and legislative policy work, to get people better access to mental health treatment.  In that capacity, she works for the Clinical Social Work Association nationally, and six groups in Washington State at the state level.
